 We began our day with our fine motor drawers, and free choice.

After free choice we went to the gym to run around and play.










To celebrate our second day of the Week of the Young Child we had a taste test for Tasty Tuesday. We tried a variety of fun snacks.





















After our taste test we had a little bit more free choice time.




After free choice, we went over and answered our questions that we had about dogs. We were able to answer all of the questions we originally had when we began our dog project.

 Today was a wonderful Wednesday. We once again started our day playing with cars and magnets, due to popular demand.  We also got to go outside for some fun this morning. We enjoyed the swings and and going down the slides. In small group today we did the water rainbow experiment with paper towels. We added food coloring to cups, and then put the paper towels in to see if the colors would mix; and they did! Yesterday, our full day friends watercolor painted some coffee filters and made beautiful sun catchers. So, today our half day friends also made the sun catchers, and they turned out beautifully. We decided to hang up our sun catchers in the windows in our classroom.

 Happy Valentine's Day! We started our day by eating some yummy donuts. We went to the gym afterwards to run races and play red light green light. After we got back from the gym, we started our Valentine's Day party. We had a fun snack, decorated cookies, played a game with Hershey kisses and passed out our valentines. After our party Mrs. Douglas came in and read a book to us. We had so much fun today!
