 Today we began our day with chapel. We enjoyed listening to Pastor Kyle and singing songs. 

After chapel we went outside. While we were outside we had Mrs. Helmkamp's class join us. We had so much fun playing with new and old friends.













For small group time, we continued celebrating the Week of the Young Child. Today was Artsy Thursday. For Artsy Thursday, we went out to the basketball court and used sidewalk chalk to make beautiful pictures. After we drew out our pictures we then used paint brushes to "paint" our drawings as well.

 Today was a wonderful Wednesday. We once again started our day playing with cars and magnets, due to popular demand.  We also got to go outside for some fun this morning. We enjoyed the swings and and going down the slides. In small group today we did the water rainbow experiment with paper towels. We added food coloring to cups, and then put the paper towels in to see if the colors would mix; and they did! Yesterday, our full day friends watercolor painted some coffee filters and made beautiful sun catchers. So, today our half day friends also made the sun catchers, and they turned out beautifully. We decided to hang up our sun catchers in the windows in our classroom.

 Happy Valentine's Day! We started our day by eating some yummy donuts. We went to the gym afterwards to run races and play red light green light. After we got back from the gym, we started our Valentine's Day party. We had a fun snack, decorated cookies, played a game with Hershey kisses and passed out our valentines. After our party Mrs. Douglas came in and read a book to us. We had so much fun today!
