 Today we enjoyed doing some rotations to start our day.

We had another surprise guest come into our classroom. We had Mrs. Jackie's service dog Bear join us. We talked about what a service dog does, what to do around a service dog and how to ask the owner for permission to pet them. We learned that it is okay for an owner to say no to us when we ask to pet their dog. We learned that bear alerts Mrs. Jackie about high or low blood sugar. We loved learning all about Bear.

Bear began pawing Mrs. Jackie to let her know she needed to help.

We added a new sensory bin today. We had a bin of mud and a bin of water. The bin of mud had small dogs inside. My friends had to clean the dogs in the water, just like pet owners bathe their own dirty dogs.
