We began our day with our friends in 6th grade for reading buddies.








After book buddies we went to the gym. Pastor Matt talked to us about the real St. Patrick and all of the wonderful work that he did to help proclaim Jesus's love and sacrifice.



We played in the gym with scooters, hula hoops and kick balls.








After our gym time we did an activity to practice our scissor skills. We also finally finished decorating our dog house.



















We had a lot of fun during our free choice time.

 Today was a wonderful Wednesday. We once again started our day playing with cars and magnets, due to popular demand.  We also got to go outside for some fun this morning. We enjoyed the swings and and going down the slides. In small group today we did the water rainbow experiment with paper towels. We added food coloring to cups, and then put the paper towels in to see if the colors would mix; and they did! Yesterday, our full day friends watercolor painted some coffee filters and made beautiful sun catchers. So, today our half day friends also made the sun catchers, and they turned out beautifully. We decided to hang up our sun catchers in the windows in our classroom.

 Happy Valentine's Day! We started our day by eating some yummy donuts. We went to the gym afterwards to run races and play red light green light. After we got back from the gym, we started our Valentine's Day party. We had a fun snack, decorated cookies, played a game with Hershey kisses and passed out our valentines. After our party Mrs. Douglas came in and read a book to us. We had so much fun today!
