 Today we started with chapel. We learned about Ash Wednesday and how we prepare for Easter throughout the season of lent.


After chapel we went to the gym.  We ran races, and played musical dots. Our friends from Mrs. Helmkamp's class came in and joined us as well.



For small groups we learned all about the different needs of dogs. We got to feel, see and smell dog treats, and dog food. 










After our small group time we had rotations.

 Today was a wonderful Wednesday. We once again started our day playing with cars and magnets, due to popular demand.  We also got to go outside for some fun this morning. We enjoyed the swings and and going down the slides. In small group today we did the water rainbow experiment with paper towels. We added food coloring to cups, and then put the paper towels in to see if the colors would mix; and they did! Yesterday, our full day friends watercolor painted some coffee filters and made beautiful sun catchers. So, today our half day friends also made the sun catchers, and they turned out beautifully. We decided to hang up our sun catchers in the windows in our classroom.

 Happy Valentine's Day! We started our day by eating some yummy donuts. We went to the gym afterwards to run races and play red light green light. After we got back from the gym, we started our Valentine's Day party. We had a fun snack, decorated cookies, played a game with Hershey kisses and passed out our valentines. After our party Mrs. Douglas came in and read a book to us. We had so much fun today!
