Tuesday, January 17th and Wednesday, January 18th, 2023

 Yesterday, January 17th, Camp Lakeview came to visit Our Shepherd. We had a lot of fun learning new songs and about what going to camp is like. We especially liked the puppet show at the beginning of the program.







The last two days we have had a ton of fun playing in the gym. We have loved the scooters, hula hoops, building blocks, and noodles.































This week we have continued to work on our colors. Today we read the story Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What do you see?


After we read our story, we choose a color and an animal we wanted to draw that the brown bear could see.










We had a lot of fun playing and sharing with our friends this week.

 Today was a wonderful Wednesday. We once again started our day playing with cars and magnets, due to popular demand.  We also got to go outside for some fun this morning. We enjoyed the swings and and going down the slides. In small group today we did the water rainbow experiment with paper towels. We added food coloring to cups, and then put the paper towels in to see if the colors would mix; and they did! Yesterday, our full day friends watercolor painted some coffee filters and made beautiful sun catchers. So, today our half day friends also made the sun catchers, and they turned out beautifully. We decided to hang up our sun catchers in the windows in our classroom.

 Happy Valentine's Day! We started our day by eating some yummy donuts. We went to the gym afterwards to run races and play red light green light. After we got back from the gym, we started our Valentine's Day party. We had a fun snack, decorated cookies, played a game with Hershey kisses and passed out our valentines. After our party Mrs. Douglas came in and read a book to us. We had so much fun today!
