 Today we had a very busy day. We played with our vet station, and garbage trucks during free choice. We did a paper cutting activity. We also did a lot of different rotations. We had two different special guests come into our classroom today. We had Mrs. Mattick and her dog Cheerio come to visit us. Mrs. Mattick told us all about Cheerio's breed, what he does, when he eats and what his day is typically like. We had so much fun learning about Cheerio. 

 We started our day by working on our fine motor drawers.  During free choice today, many of my friends enjoyed playing with cars and with our vet hospital. We had a lot of fun in the gym playing with noodles, bowling and big kickballs. For small group today we talked about how to be safe around dogs. We talked about how to pet dogs, when to pet dogs, and what to watch for if a dog seems nervous or scared. After small group, we had more free choice time. 

We started our day today with our 6th grade reading buddies. We love getting to meet new friends.  Today for small group we did rotations. We did several different stations, and worked with different friends.
